Octopus (Museum of Life & Science), originally uploaded by Futuregirl_LeahRiley.

Yesterday we took Kid Indie Squid Kid to the Museum of Life and Science (Durham, NC) for the first time. Six months might be a little young to appreciate a museum, but you got to start sometime, right? Besides, we were eager to see the brand new Dinosaur Trail!

This octopus is part of a larger metal mobile that you see as you come through the museum’s main entrance. (I took my own photo of it, but Leah’s came out better.)

By the way, tomorrow is the beginning of a new ISK theme week–Music Week!
